Large scale research on philanthropy of Dutch millionaires

Dr. Paul Smeets and Prof. Harry Hummels published a report (in Dutch) on charitable donations and socially responsible investments of Dutch millionaires. The research is conducted together with ABN AMRO MeesPierson, a private bank at which all clients have more than 1 million euro in their bank account. The report combines insights from a survey, interviews and an incentivized experiment. The report shows that millionaires are more generous than previously thought.
