The aim of this research is to understand how impact investments can be measured and how financial and non-financial returns can be shown using the investments and activities of the Medical Credit Fund as an exemplary case study. With a focus on the impact investment area, the Medical Credit Fund provides a unique case to investigate how impact investments can shape a market, provide financial returns and at the same time significantly influencing the social development of communities in Africa.
