Bram van der Kroft is currently postdoctoral researcher at MIT (US) focusing broadly on sustainable finance. His work involves investigating the mechanisms and motives through which sustainable investors can best improve the environmental and social performance of firms. Current projects address the impact potential of shareholder engagement in real estate, and the misuse of ESG information in sustainable investments.

Previously Bram was researcher at both Maastricht University and Open University in the Netherlands. Bram is a recipient of the 2021 ICPM (International Centre for Pension Management) Research Award.
