Colin Tissen is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Finance, School of Business and Economics, Maastricht University. His research focuses on environmental and social shareholder engagements, institutional ownership, and corporate director networks. Current projects include "Legal Origins and Institutional Investors' Support for Corporate Social Responsibility", and "Corporate Directors Learn From Environmental Engagements: Causal Evidence From Withdrawn Shareholder Proposals". Colin also teaches on Sustainable and Responsible Investments at Msc.level, and mainstream "investment analysis and portfolio management at Bsc. level. He also coordinated and taught on corporate financial management.
